Scheduling: Thursday and Friday of weeks where a new Naruto chapter is available are reserved for chapter summary postings and discussion postings, please do not schedule fanfics on those 2 days of the week. Rest of the days of the week are open, try to limit to one post per day to give all fanfics equal spotlight; as such, look at the scheduled posts list in the dashboard and pick an empty day for your post. I or one of the editors will move your post if it conflicts with any others.

Akatsuki Legends: The Beginning of the End!!

Akatsuki sit around a large rectangular table awaiting Sasuke or Madara’s orders. Just as Madara leans forward, Aisura walks in and takes his seat in between Jugo and Tsukaza. He sits down, calm and collected.

Madara begins speaking: All of you probably know that Akatsuki has taken meager steps to accomplish its true mission. Although amassing a large army of Curse Mark bred ninja is a feat, we’ll need to accomplish more and soon!

Sasuke gives Madara a hard look. Madara ignores Sasuke and continues speaking.

Madara: I’ll assign your missions for now. The Eight Tailed Jinchuuriki must be captured soon and the Nine Tailed. Thanks to Kagenemu and Zetsu’s reconaissance inside the leaf village, we know that both Jinshuuriki’s are training in the Land of Clouds. Sasuke, Tsukaza, Aisura and Kagenemu will absolutely capture both Tailed hosts. Jugo, Baragin, Barreta will kill the Kazekage of the Sand. Suigetsu, you will be a bodyguard for Karin and take Kagenemu’s place.

Sasuke thinking: If Jugo finds out Gaara aided in killing Kimimaro, Gaara is as good as dead.

Madara: Oh and Jugo, Gaara was the last person to see Kimimaro alive…!

Jugo’s eyes widened and his killer intent came to a boil. Sasuke readied the Sharingan but Jugo calms himself and stays silent…ominously exuding cursed marked chakra.

Sasuke and Aisura stay silent as Tsukaza and Kagenemu nod and walk out. Suigetsu groans about having to work with Karin and Zetsu consoles him with she’s not that bad to work with as they walk out. Jugo quietly gets up and walks out as Barreta trades insults with Baragin following him. Barreta heaves the large battle axe like a feather walking out. Finally Aisura and Sasuke walk out quietly as well. Madara waits a few seconds before sloping down in his chair and putting his hand over his mask.

Madara: Nandattebayoo…….!

The next day!

Sasuke, Aisura, Tsukaza and Kagenemu pull off the hoods to their Akatsuki robes. They walk in a dense, musty, and cold forest. Sasuke looks up and notices a mass of clouds to the east. He looks back to others and starts talking…

Sasuke: We don’t have much time and can’t afford to prolong this either. Kagenemu, you know what to do, Tsukaza back us up, Aisura follow my lead.

They all nod as Kagenemu creates an extra 2 Shadow Clones. One clone goes east and the other west. Sasuke follows the west clone and Aisura follows the east. Tsukaza stays in place, gracefully performing multiple hand signs. Sasuke stays a few meters behind Kagenemu and Aisura does the same with the other Kagenemu as well. Sasuke’s Kagenemu reaches a pond and Aisura watches farther east. Kagenemu touches the water and a few seconds later nods and waves a signal to Sasuke and the others. Kagenemu starts by slipping his hand in the water, then arms, then body, like a water snake. He disappears into the water and all else stays silent, awaiting his signal. A few seconds later, the water explodes. Aisura stares in awe at the pond, tense.

A few moments before…

Kagenemu sinks lower into the pond and places his hand on a bed rock below him. He makes a hand seal and instantly his eyes open wide. The rock explodes, and Kagenemu, lost to it’s explosion. Aisura watches and grabs his blade but notices Sasuke holding his hand up, still studying the pond. Aisura then looks forward to the Kagenemu a few meters in front of him and realizes what happened. Sasuke’s Kagenemu clone was a decoy to draw out the trap. Aisura notices Sasuke revolving his finger. Aisura and Kagenemu react immediately by moving closer to the pond. Aisura stays behind a tree watching the pond…waiting. Kagenemu takes reaches for a shuriken holster but before he can, two figures leap out of the water. They go for Kagenemu swiftly drawing their swords. The first figure cuts off Kagenemus left arm. Kagenemu draws a kunai with his remaining arm but the second figure cuts that arm off as well. The first impales Kagenemu but he disappears in a puff of smoke. The earth beneath the two figures erupt sending shooting rocks in their direction. The two figures jump away just in time to avoid the jagged rocks but are met with multiple shadow clones of Kagenemu. They quickly and strategically attack both figures covering each clones’ blind spot. They grab, kick and attack both figures but, with more effort than before, both figures dispatch the clones one by one, even using clones to attack each other. In a matter of seconds only a few clones remain. Kagenemu performs Earth Style: Mud Wall! A wall of earth blocks the figures way of retreating and Kagenemu’s clones send volley after volley of shuriken in their direction. Both figure jump extremely high and land on a tree branch narrowly avoiding the shuriken. The figures are shown under the dull light that now shines throught the cloudy sky. Omoi and Karui, now out of breath, wait for Kagenemu’s next attack. They fail to notice Kagenemu forming out of the branch behind them, kunai in hand. Just as they’re about to be impaled by Kagenemu, a figure drops down and impales Kagenemu, breaking the tree branch. Omo and Karui jump on to adjacent tree branches and watch as the Kagenemu’s disappear in a large puff of smoke including the one Killer Bee drove into the ground. The smoke blurs the view of Killer Bee and Aisura takes the advantage and aims for Killer Bee drawing his sword. Killer Bee notices him and immediately draws his blades as well. Before they both connect, Naruto appears in between them and grabs Aisura sword with his bare hand. Naruto glares at Aisura with ominous Sage eyes and releases his grip.

Naruto: Don’t let your guard down guys. There’s more of them around here. There’s a large amount of chakra being built up away from her and underground. They feel like…shadow clones.

Karui: How many of them?!

Naruto: I can’t accurately count them in Sage mode but I’d say near a hundred.

Omoi: Crap…! Me and Karui’ll take care of that-

Just then, Kagenemu and Aisura slip past Naruto and Killer Bee at blinding speed towards the pond. Killer Bee is able to follow them but is intercepted by Aisura’s wave of water. He evades but is surprised by the attack. Kagenemu reaches the pond and immediately performs Water Style: Water Shockwave! The pond begins to shoot out blasting waves of water towards the whole forest. Aisura wastes no time stabbing the ground with his sword. Instantly, as a reaction, the waves becomes massivly strong and multiplies ten-fold. Naruto staggers as the endless deadly waves test his strength. Naruto catches a glimpse of Sasuke and Aisura falling down from the sky, Chidori and Lightning sword in hand.

Naruto hears Omoi screaming as Aisura and Sasuke impact the water. Naruto loses his vision to a blinding light and the feeling of endless needles and swords circulating through his body. Naruto’s Sage Mode disappears and almost passes out…almost…!

Naruto Kenmei I: The End of Peace

NOTE: This is NOT Aien Kien, but a new story that takes place eighty years after the events of Naruto: Shippuden.  It has no relationship to Aien Kien.  Since it is eighty years after Naruto’s time, canon characters will NOT be seen, only mentioned at times or perhaps seen in flashbacks.  So, I hope you enjoy.  And I apologize for discontinuing Aien Kien (And just about every other one of my fanfics).

The End of Peace

(Most of Chapter One and Chapter Two takes place seven years before the current time.)

As a Hyuga woman approaches a mysterious cave, a man of great power begins to gather his chakra.  Focusing her Byakugan, she ventures into the cave, moving deeper and deeper until she is in the center.

“Who dares disturb me while I rest?” a rough voice called, demanding a response.

“It is the ender of your life!” the woman responded, dashing to the man.

The man stood up, tired of insolent beings trying to kill him.  He quickly punched the woman, sending a couple of feet back.  As she stood up to strike again, the man whispered, “Yang Release: Repulsion”.  The Hyuga was blasted back, but this time she was pushed to the wall, shattering a few bones.

“Wh… what are… you?” she asked, quickly fading.

“I am Namari Uzumaki, the Harbinger of Destruction!  Too bad you’ll never get to tell your superiors about my abilities.” the man said as he slashes the woman’s throat.  ”There.  That should keep her quiet.”

In Konoha…

“It seems Musei’s messenger birds have stopped.  I have to report this to the Hokage immediately.” an ANBU member thought to himself as he rushed to the Hokage’s Mansion.

As he stepped into the Hokage’s Office, he was almost yelling.  ”Lord Hokage!  Musei’s messenger birds have stopped.  It seems that she has failed.  Shall I send the ANBU to retrieve her body and have a funeral?”

“Yes.  We cannot let anyone learn of the secrets of the Byakugan and it is only right to have a funeral.  Musei was one of our most skilled kunochi.  If she was killed by Namari, he must have extremely powerful jutsu.  She had adopted Konoha’s Will of Fire and was one of it’s most passionate followers.  We will recover her body and hold a proper funeral.  Now go.” the Hokage said, obviously saddened by the news.  As Hokage she wasn’t suppose to show emotions, but Musei had been her daughter.

Before she left for a meeting, a tear ran down her cheek, a tear filled with every sorrowing moment of her career as Kage…

Chapter 13

Bonds

Kuchia focused his sight on the Hachibi. Nothing occured, as Hachibi’s tentacles lashed down at Kuchia. Kuchia lurched sideways to the ground, grabbed a kunai that stuck and threw it at a tentacle. As it flew, wires started wrapping various tentacles in explosives. Kuchia dropped to the ground and disappeared, as it was a Shadow Clone. The explosions detonated and the tentacles were thrown into hunks of flesh across the ground and into the foggy water.

Hachibi deformed and Bee dropped to the ground. He formed some hand signs and flipped. His body turned to electricity and struck the ground.

“This is the end for you, brat!” Bee shocked forward in multitudes of light. His hand struck Kuchia’s side as he tried to avoid the attack. Kuchia fell to the ground.

“Kuh…Bee…I won’t be bested…” Bee slid from the electricity. In a flash, black fire consumed him totally. “Amaterasu!”

The billowing flames ate everything in the area they engulfed…

Kuchia stands above the crater where the flames were. “Looks like I win…I guess while I’m here I could get the Jew-” His speech was cut off as he received a sharp blow the back of the neck. He tumbled down into the crater and fell into the hole, face up.

“I win,” Bee said aloud as he stood where Kuchia stood before. “Now tell me what you know.”

“Very well…” Kuchia laughed. “The Leaf Village wants to get you on their side for the upcoming war…Sunagakure and Kirigakure have already been signed to help. Iwa isn’t going to partake, but Kumogakure is needed…There, I told you what was in the letter…”

Bee’s glasses glimmered. He disappeared.

In the Leaf Hospital…

Mokunti lays there, finishing his story as the door opens.

Inside, a girl with bright red hair walks in.

“Uzuna, Mokunti!” Sauno cheers.

“Sauno! I thought you went on a private mission?” Uzuna asked.

“Lord Hokage didn’t think it was a good idea for me to go, since we’re low on ninja. So, we made a compromise that if he taught me how to use the Clay Shadow Clone jutsu, I would send that in my place. It’s a clone that’s a lot like Yamato’s, where I can hear and see everything it does. It encountered Hizuka…” She explained.

“Really?” Uzuna said.

“Yeah…So, what happened to you Mokunti?” Sanuo asked, hurrying to a seat.

Mokunti finished what happened the day before.

Mokunti dashed forward, water splashing away from his feet, a single kunai drawn.

Koukishi set a hand on the water. Standing back up, he formed a hand sign.

“Blood Art: Infinite Spear!” Forming a tightly wound blood spear in his hand, he lobbed it at Mokunti. It flew sharply through the air and pinpoint accuracy brought it Mokunti.

Piercing the water, Mokunti tore through the wake with a full force tackle. Building himself back up, electricity formed on his arm. The kunai glowed with electricity. Mokunti shot forward. As he stepped in front of Koukishi, the place where he set his hand before exploded and arms of water grasped him and held him in place.

“This was a pretty short match I have to say…” Koukishi sneered as his arm turned red with blood. It sharpened at the end. “Time for death!” He lunged.

Mokunti did his best to throw his head back and dodged the fatal blow. His chakra forced out of him and burst the arms of water.

“Never let your guard down, especially against a T Jonin!” Mokunti threw a side kick, grabbed Koukishi’s arm and swept his other leg under Koukishi, throwing him down into the water.

Koukishi fell a bit, then slammed his hands together in Serpent Formation. “Water Release: Myriad Serpent!” The water around him twisted and three serpents shot out of the water around Mokunti. He jumped straight upwards, taking his staffs off his back. The serpents struck towards him.

“Ha!” Mokunti did a couple of flips and slapped the serpents away violently with his staffs, the water flying all over the place. Mokunti landed on the water, and saw Koukishi attempting to stand up.

“Heh. I have someone to get, brat!” Koukishi arms turn into spears of blood, similar to Kimimaro’s Clematis Dance.

He rammed forward.

Mokunti balanced the poles on his index fingers, and tossed them into the air. “Water Release: Jet!” Mokunti inhaled deeply and released a jet of water from his mouth. It burst through one of the blood spears and threw Koukishi off balance. His poles landed on the other, and Koukishi was armless. As Mokunti dashed forward, the blood on the water formed needles that shot upwards and pierced Mokunti in numerous places. He grunted and fell sideways into the water, trying to keep above the surface. Koukishi’s arms reformed.

“Wow. Talk about short-lived when talking high about yourself…All right…” Koukishi smirked and kicked Mokunti’s forehead, causing him to sink into the water. Mokunti sunk deeper, and Koukishi smirked, disappearing.

As Mokunti sank, his poles drifted down next to him. He weakly grasped on and propelled himself out of the water. With the little chakra and strength he had, he made himself fly out of the water with a quick jet and lie on the land.

“And then, I just waited for anyone to come. A passer-by guy found me and brought me back here…” Mokunti finished.

“That’s pretty bad…At least you’re okay!” Sauno smiled. Mokunti gave her a dirty look. “Or at least…a little bit…”

Outside, after a few minutes, Sauno and Uzuna walked away from the Hostpital.

“So, what happened with Uzuna?”

Sauno frowned. “Well, he almost killed me…So that really says that he’s brainwashed…at least to an extent,” Sauno explained.

“I see. Maybe he’s gone. Maybe we can’t get him…” Uzuna said rather pessimistically.

Sauno turned and stared him in the face with her deep brown eyes. “He’s not gone!” She said sternly, turning and walking away with a quick stride.

Uzuna sighed and rubbed his head. “Maybe not…” He thought to himself.

At the Akatsuki Hideout…

“I’ve decided that the next one we bring back should sort of hurt Naruto…Someone like Jiraiya…” Orochimaru said out loud to his minions rather sadistically.

Koukishi appeared in the room with Hizuka at his side. “I heard your comment. I know what could hurt him…”

“Yes? And what’s that?”

Jinrai walked up to Koukishi’s side. “I think I’m thinking the same thing…”

At the same time, they declared, “Minato Namikaze.”

At the Hokage’s Office, Shikamaru and Tsunade were chatting.

“And that’s the jest of it. New Hokage…that’s a fitting title!” Tsunade laughed.

“Thanks…” Shikamaru smiled back.

A rap was at the door. Shikamaru’s expression turned rigid as he uttered, “Come in.”

Four people walked into the room.

“Hey. We’re Team Vendetta…Um, this is the right place, I hope?” Sauno greeted as four people walked inside.

Sasuke stood up and squeezed the robe he was wearing, tightly so that the water would drip out.

“How long have you been out here…Sasuke?” Kakashi asked, stroking the cat gently.

“Me? Um…” He hesitated, not sure exactly what to utter next. “I-I’m really not sure. A few weeks? Years?”

“Years, you say? Well, I remember hearing you were thrown out of the village about a year ago…Why?” Kakashi asked, obviously unaware of why Sasuke had been kicked out of the Land of Fire.

“Well…I’m not sure. I guess they didn’t like me or something…” Sasuke replied meekly, trying to get out of the water.

“Ah…Come with me. I want to talk to the Third Hokage about this…” Kakashi said, extending his arm in a warm gesture for Sasuke to grab onto it.

Sasuke smiled and extended his own arm, being taken out of the water. Kakashi led him towards a forest, the cat still in his arms. Sasuke was grinning, his eyes closed, just following the light footsteps of the man in front of him.

After a couple of hours, they finally came onto a large, crimson red gate that led into the aforementioned village.

“All right…” Kakashi set the cat down and formed some hand signs. It dissipated into glittering wind and passed by Sasuke’s face. He sneezed and smiled. “Sasuke, stay behind the gate…” Sasuke hurries to the outside of the gate and sits down on the cold soil. He notices Kakashi disappear.

After a few minutes of tense sitting and waiting, an old man, accompanied by Kakashi, was standing at the gate. Sasuke reeled back a little, scared of what was about to happen. The old man cocked his head towards Sasuke, a small smile on his face, and walked towards the boy. Sasuke’s face had a look of alert terror across it as the man approached him.

“Sasuke…Uchiha?” The old man uttered in a rather warm, gentle voice. Sasuke was a little becalmed by this, and got to his knees.

“Yes…sir…” He said awkwardly.

“I see. Kakashi, you found him way in the forest?” The old man asked, turning back to Kakashi.

“Yes, Lord Hokage. He was out alone, in the water…” Kakashi replied quickly.

“Bring him back to the Office…” The old man smiled once more at Sasuke and disappeared in a large poof of white smoke. Sasuke coughed and stood up.

“So, what’s going to happen to me? Am I a bad person?” Sasuke asked the tall, white haired man in his presence.

“No. I would expect not. But there are some things we have to work on with you. First, getting you a place to call home…As long as the Hokage doesn’t see anything wrong with you…” Kakashi explained looking Sasuke over. He saw a ragged blue shirt and tattered white shorts. The green robe over him was the main thing that shielded him from the outside. “You’ve been out there a long time…”

“Since…well, I don’t know. I don’t remember anything about being here. I guess I had my memory knocked away…” Sasuke answered back.

“I suppose…All right…Let’s get to the Main Office…” Kakashi said, sighing deeply. He grabbed Sasuke and disappeared in a poof of smoke.

Shannaro!!! Manga Chapter XXXVIII: Icy Fang

Note: i know the fights are getting more boring but this battle and the one before were the hardest ones i had to make, i’ll try to make the next one the best.

Previously: Sadly Sokka lost against Kazangan but we still have a 2 to 1 point lead so we’re still winning.

Hirako: Let’s go, White Fang.

WhiteFangofKonaha: You don’t have to tell me!

White Shinobi: WFK! Unleash the powers of your scroll!

WhiteFangofKonaha: Wait my scroll has another power other than transporting to here?

White Shinobi: Yes, but you need to call his name, I know it but you’ll need to find it out on your own.

WhiteFangofKonaha: I’ll find out your name stupid scroll!

Hirako: Can we finally start this damn match?

WhiteFangofKonaha: Sorry.

Hirako: By the way that scroll isn’t gonna help you much I already know it’s power and it’s weak to the cold.

White Shinobi: Right I forgot about that, sorry WFK.

WhiteFangofKonaha: Don’t be I don’t know it’s name yet so I can’t even use it.

White Shinobi: *thinking* even if it’s weak to the cold he might take advantage of Hirako being  cautious of it.

WFK and Hirako maintain their distance and have stare contest to see who will attack first.

Hirako can’t stand it and charges at WFK who counters his attacks without too much trouble.

Sokka: That guy, he’s cheap he enrages his enemy to counter his attacks more easily.

White Shinobi: No, he’s already inside Hirako’s trap.

Sokka: What do you mean?

White Shinobi: Just watch.

Hirako suddenly dodges one of WFK’s punches and he kicks him back and throws an ice spear.

The spear hits WFK in his shoulder.

WhiteFangofKonaha: Damn you used the cold of your own skin to give me a form of frostbite and slow me down.

WFK pulls out the spear and wraps the scroll around his arm.

WhiteFangofKonaha: If you have some power then give some to me you damned scroll!

WFK grabs 2 iron claws from his pocket and attacks Hirako with swift attacks.

Hirako dodges most attacks and suddenly ducks, places his hand on the ground and freezes it.

WFK slips away and Hirako stabs him multiple time with the backside of a glaive he just made from ice.

Hirako twirls the glaive above his head and swings with it sideways.

WFK blocks it but the force was so high that he gets send flying, as he stands up he notices that his claws are broken from the huge impact.

WhiteFangofKonaha: Fuck, this happens awfully often to me.

Hirako: Just give up, I don’t want to kill you.

WhiteFangofKonaha: Like hell!

WFK takes out his blade and charges a chidori trough it.

Hirako and WFK clash weapons but Hirako seems to win with brute force and WFK gets pushed back.

WFK jumps and charges at Hirako again.

WhiteFangofKonaha: Got you now!

WFK thinks that Hirako doesn’t have enough time to pull his glaive back.

Hirako knows he isn’t able to pull his glaive back in time so he destroys it and creates another and the last moment he cuts WFK down with an upward slash.

Hirako slashes 2 times diagonal and 3 times horizontal.

WFK gets hit by all and falls down.

WhiteFangofKonaha: Can’t lose.

WFK gets a vision of 2 people 1 man and 1 woman.

The siblings stand quietly and look at WFK who stares back.

In reality steam comes out of WFK’s wounds.

Man: WFK, I think you still aren’t worthy of calling our name but I believe you’ll become that later.

Woman: So call our name, there’s only 1 condition you must awaken the tree within 1 week or you’ll lose the ability to use our powers.

WhiteFangofKonaha: Fine, I accept!

Both: Fine our name is…

WhiteFangofKonaha: Yggdrasyl!

WFK’s wounds heal and he wants to charge at Hirako but White Shinobi and Kazangan hold him down.

WhiteFangofKonaha: What are you doing!?

White Shinobi: Senjuuuken finished the count when you were unconscious.

Hirako walks up to White Shinobi

Hirako: You saw didn’t you?

White Shinobi: Yes, he unleashed their powers.

Hirako: Your ban on that place is not lifted yet, but you’re the only one who knows that place, what will you do?

White Shinobi: The ban will lift In 2 days and to travel there costs at least 1 day so I’ll go with him.

Hirako: Well then, good luck.

White Shinobi: Thanks I’ll need it.

Senjuuuken: Ok next match, Chaos vs. Tsukiru!

Oh no we lost another match the points are in a draw now, but don’t worry anything can happen. Don’t miss the next chapter: Cutting Mantis.

The New Akatsuki: Dust Storm Part 2

Quick Recap

The original and former Team 7 were about to discuss their plans of how to attack Konoha when Madara along with Zetsu, Shigetsu and Jugo appeared to them. The battle between the Sand and Cloud kicked off and Kakashi order Guy and Yamato to collect his own personalize team to head out to stop this battle that could cause a war within the already shake alliance. the to strongest members of the Cloud have appeared in front of Gaara ready to take the Kazekage down. What till happen. Now for Part 2 of The New Akatsuki: Dust Storm.

As the former Team 7 members stand looking at Madara, Madara begins to speak to Sasuke.

“So Sasuke my boy, when were you going to rejoin us? The Akatsuki still needs you. I thought we had something special.” Madara joked

“Don’t be foolish Madara, I told you I would help out as long as you help me get what I wanted. I killed Danzo. Don’t need you to destroy Konoha. I think we can handle the rest on our own.”  Sasuke says referring to Naruto, Sakura and himself.

“So you were just going to let us rot in that prison back in the Land of Iron? Jugo had faith in you and you are going to just going to abandon you team? You F****** selfish punk” Shigetsu demanded and angrily comments

Sasuke doesn’t say a word back only looked at Shigetsu who started to walk towards Sasuke.

“Now, now boys we can all still work together to get what we want.” Madara says standing in front of a furious Shigetsu.

“Yes I bet part of “what you want”, it still involves me and the Fox?” Naruto says as he walks from the front of the chair to stand in front of Sakura.

Jugo move to stand next to Shigetsu just encase something violent begins.

Well, well looks like the tension in this room can be cut with a kunai. “, A joking Zetsu comments.

North Border of the Land of Fire, Battle Site of the Sand and Cloud Ninjas.

Durai and Samui are dodge and slashing strains of chakra infused sand that is being controlled by Gaara.

Durai says to Samui, “You know I can use water and lightning chakra but I think it would be better if you used your water with my lightning to take this guy out, so we won’t use up our chakra so fast.”

“That sounds like a plan to me. So how do you what to tackle this?” she replies back

As the two talk while still dodging, Gaara continues to control his sand effortlessly throwing and lunging sand at his foes and amazing speed, until Samui lands in front of him, “Suiton; Tidal Wall.

Using a puddle of water from one of her last attack she creates a huge wall of water that starts to roll towards Gaara hoping he would fall for the trap so he would be open to Durai’s Lightning jutsu.

Durai was behind Gaara ready for him to attack. Gaara had already followed Durai and figured Samui was trying to get him to move think his sand would not hold up to her water jutsu.

“Foolish.” Gaara whispers. He commands his sand to surround him. The water hits the oval shaped sand barrier. Samui thinks the water will flush the sand away or turn it into an unusable mud. The water hits the barrier.  However to her dismay when the water subsided the barrier was still stand but also turned into a glass like substance.

“What the hell, glass? How’d he do that?” Durai says from the tree top behind Gaara.

The glass breaks and safely fall around Gaara as the gourd sand beneath him rises back up surrounding him again.

“It is simple. When the sand from my gourd infuses with the ground I can take all the sand minerals with in the ground and use them with my own. So when I created my barrier I put the substitute sand in front of my original sand and spinning my sand I used it to heat the outside into create glass while using my own charka to protect the original sand from turning also. Once the glass was made, the sand held the glass in place. That is my Crystal Sand Barrier technique. First time using it in battle” Gaara explained.

“My lord he his powerful, Maybe we should waited for the others to attack him at once” Samui says to herself. Then she remembers Durai and looks up at him.

“Ranton; Laser Circus” Durai uses his jutsu and aims it at the Kazekage. Gaara’s sand instinctively rises to stop the attack but the electric laser beams pierce the sand. One beam was able to graze Gaara cloth nothing more. Gaara was about to counterattack when he got a giant electric shock all over his body that paralyzed him in place. He falls to his knees.

“What? But how?” Thinking to himself.

Then he looks down. Water from Samui’s Tidal Wall attack was everywhere.

Durai begins to speak.

“Kazekage, we read about you a long time ago. We heard of what you can do and I have seen it myself at the Gokage Summit. So I know about you using normal ground soil as part of your arsenal. The glass jutsu did surprise me but what happened was just as we planned. You can’t use the soil now and your sand is mud now, when you fell it fell with you onto the water” Durai lands on the water and walks towards Gaara as Samui does the same. “So your sand is useless.”

“We are not going to kill you sir. That would surely start a war within the war but we will momentarily immobilize you so we can help our comrades and continue our mission.” Samui says

“You two really are foolish” Gaara says in a low voice

“What was that?”Durai asks

“You two think water can stop me or my sand.”

The ground around the area is shaking strongly. “Just because my sand is wet doesn’t mean I can’t still control it.”

Durai and Samui look at one another. “Oh hell! Looks like reading on someone and facing them are two totally different things.” Durai says out loud.

Kankuro against Omoi

Kankuro stands with the Red Secret Puppet. “This is made from an old member of the Sand and Akatsuki, Saori of the Red Sand. It has so unique feature.  So if you want to fight for real then you will definitely find out. So I will ask you again will you and your comrade go back home?”

“No, I thought of the bad things the Raikage would do to us. He is not a man to disappoint. I feel if we do he will do some very hurtful things to us and I don’t mean mental.” Omoi says

“Sorry for you. Now I have to hurt you myself now.” Kankuro sends RS straight for Omoi. Omoi resends lightning chakra down his blade and thinks it will destroy the puppet as it did the other two.

“Sorry that is not going to happen twice.” The RS raises its hands and reveals to small pipes in its palms. “Poison Purple Fog” Kankuro says and he signals the puppet to release a purple cloud at Omoi who stops and jumps back away from the cloud.

“I will tell you this. I felt the pain this poison causes and trust me you don’t want to feel it. I do have the antidote thanks to a good ally of ours in the Leaf so I can breath it all I wont  plus being in my system already I have pretty good immunity to it already.” Kankuro says

Clenching his teeth, Omoi lands with frustration across his face. “Hotdamnit, how can I stop this guy if I can’t even get close to him?”

Omoi grabs some kunais and infuse the LC into them again and begins to throw them.

“I see you getting desperate” Kankuro comments as he uses RS to deflect the flying blades.

“What” Kankuro looks up at the branch Omoi was standing and noticed Omoi went missing. “Where could he have gone?”

Looking all around him he does see and movement at all. “Where are you?” Kankuro signals RS to reveal it’s attack blades and sends him through the trees slicing the hidden side of the trees. “Where the hell is he?”

Suddenly he realizes something and looks above him. Omoi was on the highest branch above him and decided to drop as soon as Kankuro looked up with his sword aiming for Kankuro’s head.

Kankuro lunges forward to avoid the attack. Omoi lands and moves in on Kankuro. Swing his sword me measures his opponents dodging range.  Kankuro moves and dodges with easy.

“For a close and personal man, you couldn’t hit broad side of a barn with the way you swing.” Kankuro says

Omoi not letting his words get to him suddenly stops.

“My village specializes in two specific natural chakras, Lightning and Water. Just like the Leaf’s are Fire and Wind. Iwa’s are Earth and Lightning, Kiri’s are Water and Fire, and Your village, Suna’s  are Wind and Earth. But like every other village there are people who has a natural affiliation to a certain natural chakra that comes in handy and guess what.” Omoi begins a hand signs that started with the “Rabbit” hand sign. “I learned Lightning however my nature chakra is…..” Raising his sword, he says. “…Wind…Futon; Thunder Clap Blade.”

A visible slash of wind is heading toward Kankuro. He quickly jumps into the air. When the attack hits a tree a loud thunder roar can be heard right behind the attack.

Kankuro lands and looks up with Omoi right on him with the sword pointed at his throat. “I really don’t want to kill you but if you continue I will.”

Unknown to Omoi Kankuro as been moving RS slowly throughout the battle around Omoi how has not noticed that the puppet is almost right be hind him.

“Well if you kill me than I will have no choice but to kill you too.” Kankuro points to the puppet now right behind Omoi. Who just turns his head to see Saori’s old puppet eyes looking him in the face. “So what do you want to do?”

Then in a quick moment an almost invisible force attack and hits RS sending it from behind Omoi who thinks it is on of his teammates.

“Well looks like we got …..” Then suddenly his sword went missing. “What the hell just…?”

Both turn their head to see two shadowy figures start walking into the light.

“About time you guys showed up.” Kankuro smiles

Temari and Kurai

Temari is standing there while what looks like lightning chakra begins to sparkle around Kurai’S arms and legs.

“What is this? It must be some lightning jutsu.” Temari says

Kurai looks like see is struggling to call forth some type of jutsu. “I was taught my sword game by Killer Bee sama but most of my jutsu was taught to me by the Raikage himself and he began to teach me how to used my chakra to make myself faster and stronger. I haven’t gotten to his level. Not even near his weakest when he uses his but I can’t at less increase my speed”

Temari is surprised at someone so young calling their chakra forth like this. She has seen people infuse chakra into objects but not to infused it with their own body like this even though chakra is part of ones own body until see remember the Gokage Summit and the Raikage’s Lightning armor like jutsu. “So that’s it. You were taught that lightning armor.  Well like I said bring it own.”

“So you know about it. Guess your intel on us is a lot more than I thought.” Kurai says

“No I’ve seen it first hand at the Summit.” Temari answers back

“Well mine is not a complete, I can only use it in my arms and legs to increase my speed for a short time which should be enough to handle the likes of you.”

While holding the jutsu she can feel pain beginning to take over. Thinking to herself. “I got to end this now. “

Almost in instant Kurai vanished.

“You may be fast but I can tell you are going to wear yourself out before you think you can beat me.” Temari says out loud.

“You think so?” A voice comes from behind Temari.

Temari swings her fan around using wind jutsu but nothing is there except tree that she pushes out from the roots.

“Damn where she go now.”

Suddenly painful slashes shows up on Temari’s arm and back. “Shit she is faster than my eyes can see.”

So Temari swings her fan back, “FUTON; GIANT WHIRLWIND CIRCLE!!!”

“Using a new variation to the Giant Whirlwind Slice she spins herself in a circle sending wind in all directions cutting and pushing down trees, until she hears a voice. “Dammit that hurt.”

Kurai was running as fast as she could but her jutsu couldn’t handle it anymore but she was able to jump away from most of the jutsu but part of her leg got cut in the process making her fall.

Temari walks up to Kurai who was favoring her right leg. “Give it up you can’t beat me.”

Kurai suddenly disappears in a puff of smoke.

“A Shadow Clone, dammit when?” Temari says as she turns to see the real Kurai not even 10 feet away and closing fast.

“YYYAAAAAAAAHHHHH !!!!” Kurai yells as she is about to kill her prey.

Suddenly Kurai stops a with her sword’s blade just inches away from Temari’s chest.

“I recognize that anywhere, so I see you guys got Gaara’s scroll.” Temari turns to two figures stand, one’s a women, the others a man, standing in the tree shade, His arm showing in the light a Leaf Ninja headband around it.

Gaara, Durai and Samui.

“Man I should have stayed my butt in bed that day.” Samui comments waiting on Gaara’s attack

“Your need to understand I will not let you pass and if it meant using this entire land then I will. I didn’t just put sand in that one spot I had already sent the sand throughout this land and now this land is now under my control.” Gaara explains to the two Cloud Ninjas in front of him.

Gaara raises his hands into the air sending and entire wall of soil into the air revealing the sand in the soil.

“Now since you will not leave, it is time to stop you ones and for all.” Gaara says with a clam and sad look in his eyes knowing he is about to do something he doesn’t want to do to allies.

Gaara sends the sand heading from above towards Durai and Samui who can nowhere to run.

Mokuton: Impenetrable Wooden Dome

A wooden dome surrounds the Cloud Ninjas protecting them the sand on pour.

Gaara call back the sand as it calmly releases the other ground soil that fall harmlessly to the ground.

Gaara looks at Yamato who reveals himself from a tree right next to Gaara.

“Well Kazekage as you can tell, we got your message.” A well known voice speaks from the other side of Gaara as he turns his head to see the Sixth Hokage next to him. Guy and Sai has collected the fall Sand Jonin as Yamato releases his dome with the confessed Cloud looking on as now it appears their opponents have went from one to five in moments. “Ok what the hell is this?” Samui says

“We just saved your hides” Yamato says

Kankuro and Omoi look on as Neji and Rock Lee hold Omoi’s sword come into the light.

“How did you get my sword?” Omoi asks

“You’re fast but I’m a lot fast than you. Things were getting out of hand. So we had to use a little force to stop you two.” Lee says

Neji looks at the Cloud headband on Omoi’s head and begins to have mixed feelings about the Cloud as allies. He turns and starts to walks away in the direction of the main group. “Lee lets go so we can caught up with Lord Hokage.

“What? The Hokage is here too?” Omoi asks

Shikamaru and Ten Ten walk up to Kurai and Temari

“So you doing ok?” Shikamaru asks.

“Of course but you don’t have to worry I would have still beaten her.” Temari says with a smile

“I know that, I was talking to her, she was fast but was limping and her movments look sluggish, letting me know that whatever she did must have hurt her badly.”

“Release me and you’ll find out how bad I’m hurt.” An angry Kurai replies.

“Well you can’t fight injured like that anymore plus you think you can handle the Sand already here and 8 Leaf at once.” Ten Ten says

“What you talking about?”

Temari says turning towards the young girl still being held by Shikamaru’s Shadow Hold Jutsu. “I told you, you will go no farther than here.” Then she turns to the other two. “Shikamaru how you guys get to the border so fast?”

“Well….”

17 minutes ago Outside the Konoha Main Gate

Kakashi finish telling the situation to his team and what he has planned afterward.

“But by the time we get there it could be too late. How are we going to get there in time before someone dies?” Ten Ten asks “Some of us aren’t as fast and you, Guy sensei and Lee.”

“That is what I am here for as well.” Sai interrupts

He spreads his art scroll out. “Ninja art; Multi Transport Falcons”

Four Ink Transporting Falcons come to life from the scroll. Everyone jumps on to one of the art birds as they takes off and heads north to the borders.

“See I think this is how we will get there Ten Ten. “ Lee says to her from his birds with Neji

“Shut up Lee!”

“That’s how we got here.” Yamato says to Gaara.

Kakashi walks to the middle of the group stand about the damage forest.

“Cloud Ninjas I am Kakashi Hatake, the new Hokage of Konohamaru.  You maybe allies of the Leaf but for now you are unwelcomed here. I advice you leave before I MAKE YOU MYSELF.” The Hokage says his Kage coat flows in the wind and he pulls his headband upright to reveal his Sharingan.

SvSU Episode 1: Runner Practice

“Welcome to the official Season 2′s first episode of SvSU! Today, we will be officially starting up the season with a difficult challenge. First, we’ve given the contestants some time to warm up with their partners…”

Guruku walks out to the arena and sees the teams have already gathered.

“All right, each ones of them have paired with a group of four to get warmed up…It looks like…Kay, Adam, Uchiha and Nemo are stretching…” Guruku whispers.

Up ahead, the four latter where doing some aerobic-style stretches. Nemo swung his arm around and clocked Adam in the face by accident.

Nemo looked down. “Oops,” he said dryly and moved away to stretch some more.

Guruku stands next to another team. “This is apparently Team 2! They consist of, Kisu, Naru, DH and Cookie!” Guruku rolls his eyes and moves on to the next team.

Standing next to a large, Sequoia-sized tree stump in the center of the Relay field, Guruku waved his hand at another team. “This is Team 3, Mart, J, NTG and WhiteShinobi, better known as WS!”

Guruku steps through a mud slick and finds the final team right next to the track. “Finally, this is Suna, Bob, Flash and SSJ! The teams have been introduced, so I will announce their starting points.”

Guruku grabbed a bullhorn Hitlershire was holding. Putting it up to his mouth, he bellowed, “Teams! In the six and a half seconds I saw what teams you gathered into, I have decided your Track Positions! GET READY AND LINE UP AT THE STARING LINE OF THE TRACK!”

Team 3 ended up lining first, then 2, then four and finally, Team One on the far right side.

“All right…” Guruku says, thinking. “Team 3, NP, then Adam, then Uchiha, and finally Kay at the other side of the track…Team 2, Naru, Kisu, DH and Cookie on the other side of the track. Team 3, Mart, NTG, J and then WS on the other side of the track. And Team 4, SSJ, Bob, Flash and then Suna. All right…” Guruku pulls four batons, Red, Green, Yellow and Blue, out of his overcoat. Walking down the one line, he hands them to the first people there. “You will each run these batons to your teammate. They will run it to the third, and so on and so forth. Seems easy? There will be obstacles on the way!” Without a warning, he screams “GO!”

The players all struggle and stumble as they shoot off the starting line.

As they start, hurdles shoot up from the ground. NP and Naru sail over theirs, as SSJ crawls under his. Mart topples over his and rolls back to his feet, clutching his gut.

As the second members of each one of them approached, a small gun-like object appeared right above the ground. They shot small items towards the runners. NP is slapped across the face numerous times, causing him to fall backwards and start crawling. Naru is pelted, and can’t seem to bend down to crawl, but finally manages to do so.

As Mart gets close, they start firing. He has his mouth open and ones shoots into his cheek, causing him to keel sideways in pain. “Oh, (CENSORED), that (CENSORED) hurt my (CENSORED) (CENSORED) (CENSORED) mouth! AGH, (CENSORED)!”

SSJ was stunned at his language, but he kept going, diving under the pebbles being thrown at him.

Naru and NP reach their second teammates, Kisu and Adam, respectively. As Nemo tries to hand the baton to Adam, Adam slaps it away.

“Wait…” Adam snaps and leans to grab the baton, shooting down the track.

“That’s what I thought!” Nemo screamed, falling backwards.

Naru had handed Kisu his baton, and Kisu was off like a bullet. As he starts, he immediately trips and rolls, hitting a hurdle that springs up. Kisu picks himself up and keeps going, climbing over the hurdle.

SSJ hands Bob his baton. Mart finally crawls under the gun and uneasily hands his baton to NTG. Surprisingly, NTG darts away faster than the other runners.

She immediately passes Kisu and Adam.

Kisu coughs, and as he does, he tries to sprint fast. He kicks up a clod of dirt and it smacks Adam in the face, causing him to choke and fall to his left knee. He opens one eye and starts going again, gagging as he does.

Finally, NTG jumps into the air when she approaches the third line and throws the baton to J. As J starts, he sees Kisu hand his off to DH. DH is suddenly, next to Flash as he is sprinting down the aisle.

“Really, Flash?!” DH shouts as she is running as fast as she can to keep up with just Flash’s sprinting. It comes to fruition, as Uchiha comes rushing down the lane, keeping next to Flash. Flash smirks and runs as fast as he can, piledriving through them.

DH hands her baton off to the fourth runner, Cookie, getting them in second so far.

Suna dashes up beside Cookie, with no-one at his right. He glances back and sees Kay coming slowly. She suddenly drops her baton and falls to her knees, about to cry.

“AGH!” She picks it up and hurries along.

WS is coming right behind Cookie, as Cookie closes his eyes and breaths. Suddenly, he rushes forward extremely fast. When he exerts all his energy, he is a few yards from the finish line.

As he approaches it, WS comes streaking up past him.

“What?!” Cookie shouts.

“I didn’t exert all my energy too early!” WS says as he throws the baton down in excitement on the other side of the finish line. His team cheered with him as they claimed first place.

Cookie sighed and saw Suna coming up next to him. Suddenly, Suna drops his baton, and he stumbles. The baton shoots across the finish line, but Cookie crosses his finish line first, with his baton.

Cookie cheers with his team.

Suna gets across next.

“Sorry, man, you had to be across with you AND the baton, so you got third!” Guruku said simply.

Kay collapsed over the finish line. Her team stood, glaring at her in disgust. They walk away and sit on the stump. Kay stands up in shame.

“Well well, your team got last, so you must vote off one person NOW!” Guruku announces over his bullhorn with no warning.

The team sitting on the stump took no time to scream in unison, “KAY!”

Kay almost shouts in debate, but Guruku grabs her arm and leads her to the door. “Well, Kay, this is it for you!”

“How are we eliminated…?” She asks, her voice full of shame. Guruku taps a button on his coat and a door of the Colosseum opens. A giant lion roars out. It snuffs her up, throwing her on its back and it darts out of the Colosseum doors.

Guruku walks back to the rest of the contestants, everyone now sitting on the large stump.

“All right. Since there are fifteen of you left, we will split off into THREE teams this season! The names will be based off of the Greek Gods. Team 1, SSJ, Cookie, DH, Kisu and Flash will be called…Team Poseidon! Team 2, J, Naru, Mart, NTG and Suna will be called…Team Zeus! And finally, Team 3 will be, Bob, Adam, Uchiha, WS and Nemo! It’ll be called Team Hades!”

“Wow, those are so original names…” Kisu grumbles.

“Aren’t they? So, we’ll see you all next time for more, Shannaro…vs…Shannaro…UNLEASHED!”

The New Akatsuki: Dust Storm Part 1

For all those that read this story faithfully, sorry for the long wait. Been moving into my new house so I didn’t have time to write plus with the new and very surprising developments going on I had to rethink some things to the story. Now since the Cloud Ninjas with the exception of Durai in this part of this story have not shown any type of jutsu so I will have to be creative. Well it’s time for the Sand and Cloud to face off. The action begins. I present the New Akatsuki (Not Atasuki): Dust Storm Part 1

Orochimaru’s old hideout

Sakura’s walking down the familiar looking but unfamiliar hallways. She finished tending to Sasuke’s wounds and sat in her own room for the last day thinking to herself about all that has happened.  Today Sasuke came to her room and told her to go get Naruto and meet him in the Main Hall to talk about their plans. Letting him know that this hideout was big he gave her directions to his room. Not really trusting either one he placed them on opposite sides of the hideout with his own room in the middle.

Thinking to herself. “Why didn’t he get him his self?”

She walks and turns the corner, starts down the torch lit hallways and starts to count the doors. Naruto’s is number 27….long hallway.

Back at Konoha. Ichiraku Ramen Shop

Naruto is sitting with Sai talking and eating on ramen when Sakura walks up and sits next to Naruto.

“So did Granny Tsunade give us a new mission?” Naruto asks Sakura.

“Yeah but we have to hurry so we can receive our orders.” She answers back

“Great, I need to hurry and finish this mission.”

“Why is it so important to finish this mission so fast?” Sai asks

Sakura walks down the hall way still counting the doors.  She is on 12 going to 13. “I don’t remember these halls being to long.”

“Well as soon as we finish with this mission I need to train more to hold my Sage mode longer, gotta be ready for Sasuke and Madara.”

“Well we gotta get going soon,” Sakura reminding her teammates

“Hey I wanna finish this, this is some good ramen.”

“For someone that is in a hurry you sure are taking your time.”

Sakura has finally found his room and she begins to knock. “Naruto are you awake…Naruto!?”

Naruto looks up from his ramen and listens and thought he heard Sakura call his name and hears thunder off in the distance. “Did you say something” Naruto looking at Sakura”

“No but you need to hurry up.”

“OK OK.”

“Naruto are you in there” Sakura continues to knock when the door opens.

Sakura notices Naruto in a deep sleep mumbling to himself.

She walks over to him and starts to shake his slowly, “Naruto wake up”

Sakura is tired of waiting and grabs Naruto and shakes him. “NARUTO!!! We need to go, NOW!!!”

Sai is sitting there with an “I knew this would happen” look on his face.

“Cccaann yyoouu pplleeaassee ssttoopp!!!??” Naruto yells out asking her to stop shaking him.

Sakura standing over Naruto and can now hear his mumbling words.

“Ok Sakura we can go but can you please pay for the ramen please. I don’t have my money pouch on me” Naruto smiles in his sleep

Sakura gets frustrated, closes her eyes, balls her fist up and holds it in the air.

In the Mall Hall Sasuke is sitting at the head of a long table waiting for the other two when he hear Naruto scream echo throughout the hideout. ” OOOOOOHHHHHHCCCCCCHHHHHHH, SAKURA…WHAT WAS THAT FOR!!!!!?”

“Guess she finally found his room” Sasuke thinks to himself with a smirk on his face.

“Wake up you idiot, you been in your room for two straight days.” Sakura tells Naruto sternly

Naruto with his sleepy closed like eyes looks up at Sakura rubbing his head, “Well I been kind of busy, needed some rest. You didn’t have to hit me. “

“Stop dreaming about me paying for YOUR ramen. You need to get up; Sasuke wants to meet up in the Main Hall. Just go straight down this hall to the end make a right and walk straight again and you’ll be there. We will be waiting.”

Naruto wake up full when here hear Sasuke’s name.  “Got it let him know to give me a little bit to get myself ready.”

Sakura nods yes and walks out.

“Ok time for part two to begin. “

About 3 kilometers away from the Land of Fire border

Two Konoha Chunin’s are on lookout guard around the north border

Ko Hyuga, who has recovered from Pain’s attack, is place on lookout for his Byakugan along with a Chunin named Funihna for his specialty of speedy summoning message senders

Ko notices a huge dust cloud and a loud boom off in the distance.

“Wonder if that is wants the Hokage was taking about… Byakugan!”

Ko looks off and notices 9 people battling, 4 on 4 with one standing there. He zooms in on the one standing and notices it Gaara of the Sand, The Kazekage,

“Oh yeah it’s them, Funihna send a message to the Hokage and tell him that they are here at the northern border.”

Funihna summons a Speed Hawk and places the message on the Hawk’s leg and lets it fly off.

“Think we should help.” Funihna asks

“No, Kakashi-sensei doesn’t want anyone to get involved unless told by him.”

“So we stand here while all our allies are fighting on our soil because of some stupid traitorous brats.”

“Hold on, Sasuke yes but Naruto and Sakura I believe The Hokage and place my faith in this decision.”

Funihna folds his arms and looks at Ko “I hope your faith in them is enough for the both of us.”

The Battle Site.

While Gaara stands on the ground standing guard as his troops begin there fight with the Cloud.  If any one of the Cloud Ninjas try to make it past the Sand he will stop them himself . He is focused on protecting his allies and friends of the Konoha people.

About 5 minutes early

Durai asks. “Kazekage what are you doing here sir”

“We are here to stop you from interfering in Konoha’s business.  It is their duty to stop Sasuke Uchiha. So turn around and head back to your village.” The Kazekage replies.

“Sorry we can’t do that.  We are on orders from the Raikage to bring back that criminal Uchiha in. Since the Leaf can’t do their job we got to for them.” Omoi says to Gaara.

“Yeah plus we got some business of our own with this red eye punk.”Kurai adds

Kankuro looks at his younger brother, “So it looks like they’re not going to listen to a Kage and go quietly.”

Gaara continues to look at the Cloud Ninjas but nods yes to his older brother, and slightly raises his hand.

Around the Cloud, tan bars rise up and solidified into a circular jail like structure.  “Rendan;  Sand Confinement Cylinder.”

“What is this” Samui asks

“This is our non-violent way of telling you that you will go no farther than this.  But if we have to we will make you leave by force.” Temari lets the Clouds know they are not playing.

“Really, Is that so? Sorry Kazekage but we got our orders and a job to do and we are not going to hold back.” Durai says as he takes his giant clever like sword, channels his lightning based chakra into it and slashes at the bars.

Realizing this would happen Gaara starts to close the bars into a Desert Prison.   Durai notice this and throw an explosive tag and used his water jutsu to protect him and his teammate which sends the sand flying creating the dust cloud the Leaf Ninjas noticed.

As the Cloud Ninjas land lucky surviving the explosion without a scratch, the Sand with the exception of Gaara charge their opponents

Kankaro jumps at Omoi, the Sand Jonin name Kazuyi takes Samui. Temari faces off with Kurai, The last Sand Jonin Qua takes on Durai.

Gaara stands watching and waiting for anyone of his people to fall or if a Cloud try to pass him so he can take action.

Gaara thinks to himself, “Raikage, this is not what we wanted. You just could not leave well alone. Now you may have started a war within the alliance.”

Kankuro is on a far off branch with two of his puppets chasing Omoi.

“See if your Kage would have just listened to Naruto Uzimaki this would not happen.”

You mean that guy with the orange jump suit, the Konoha Jinchuuriki? What does he have to with this?” Omoi ask as he dodges Karasu’s blade attack.

“I see the Raikage didn’t really explain why you’re on your way to Konoha did he?”

Well I thought of many things but right now is not the time for me to worry about that.” As he says this Omar unsheathe his sword and start a blade battle with the Karasu puppet.

Kankuro brings his other puppet Kuroari around to Omoi’s back to try and trap him in Kuroari’s body when he notices Karasu’s blades chipping.

“So you notice huh.” Omoi say as he chop the blades off the puppet and with one down slash cuts Karasu into two when Kankuro sees that Omoi’s sword is lightning chakra infused. Quickly turning, Omoi charges and swiftly cuts Kuroari with an upper slash, surprising Kankuro with such a quick attack destroying two of his puppets in just two good slashes.

“I see, I didn’t wanna take this out but you are a lot tougher than I guess. I was only using them to test you and if you were weak just take you out the game with those two. But I see you want to make this a real fight.” Kankuro smiles

“Well I can say the same for you. I was just dodging to test does puppets abilities’. But I figured you just were testing me too. If you are with the Kazekage, then you’re a lot stronger than those sorry pieces of wood.”

Kankuro takes out his red bordered scroll. “This is what I use when I get serious these days.”

Unrolls the scroll and a puff of red smoke comes out and as it clears. Omoi is looking with a worried look on his face.

The Red Secret Puppet appears next to Kankuro, “Now let’s get down to business then.

Konoha, the Leaders Tents

Kakashi got back from the feudal lord’s palace with good news of sort. As of know he is officially the Sixth Hokage though he still feels he is not right of the job, and all their plans have been given the official go ahead. Kakashi before he left talked to the elders of their future if he would be place as official Hokage. He returns to the tent and is sitting with his key leaders.

“I see so the Feudal Lord is letting this plan go ahead. That’s good. So what did the elders say when you talked to them” Guy ask the Hokage

“Well I let them know that even though the secrets out it will not change their position in the village. It’s just for now to protect them. I understand why they did it if the Uchihas were going to start a civil war then they had to be stopped. It’s just they made a bad decision using Itachi to kill his own family and clan.” Kakashi tells his subordinates in the tent with him as his counselors, the Jonin Commanders, and the leader of the Anti Tail beast platoon sit discussing the village.

“So when we stop Sasuke you want them to return to their duties” Shikaku ask

“Only for you two want to give up the position. That is the last thing I told them. ”

“So had Tsunade-sama shown any signs of waking up?” Yamato asked

“Well no real signs of waking up yet but she did say something in her state. Shizune said it was something that had to do with Jiraiya-sama. Something along the lines of “Jiraiya, help the village you fool.” I don’t know that Lady Tsunade is dreaming but she is still fighting for the village while fighting for her life.

Guy looks up and out the tent when he sees a bird flying towards them.

“Look” He points.

Kakashi stands up and walks out the tent and raises his arm. “It’s a message hawk from Funihna” The hawk lands and Kakashi unties the scroll and releases the bird which puffs into smoke. Kakashi opens it and read. Quickly and suddenly he turns to the others

“Guy, Yamato, you two is coming with me and I want your old team Guy to meet me at the gate ASAP.  Also I want Shikamaru and Sai as well.”

“What’s going on Kakashi-senpai” Yamato ask with concerning in his voice.

“The Sand finally met with the Cloud at the Northern Border. We have to get their now to stop this.”

“No need for you to go. We can stop that, the village needs you.” Shikaku says

“I believe you two can handle it. I’m going to see the Raikage after we stop this. I got a nice bone to pick with him. No one will send people to our land to take care of OUR business”

“Are you sure about this?” Guy asks

“No, but if he going to use his position as alliance commander like this I wont forgive him if Naruto or Sakura are hurt or worst because he wont listen. Go get your team Guy, Yamato get the other two and meet me at the gate.” Kakashi finishes as get grabs his new Hokage coat with lightning borders patterns and heads to the gate.

“Man I seen Kakashi pissed and mad but this is my first time seeing him angry.” Guy says “I feel kind of sorry for the Cloud if they decide not to leave.

Guy and Yamato speed off as Kakashi continue to walk down the path to the gate.

Battle Site

Temari and Kurai are dashing thought the branches and jumping off the ground slashes their blades at each other. Temari is using her fan while Kurai is using her sword.

Kurai notice something and asks Temari, “So you’re not a close range fighter but you continue to attack me up close? You know I could have taken you out by now but I am not trying to kill you.”

“Really I thought you were holding back but don’t get it twisted I prefer to fight at a distance but I have my reasons to be fighting to close of now, plus we are not trying to kill you and your comrades, we just want you to turn around and head back to your village.”

“Sorry I can’t play anymore with you” Kurai say

Kurai moves farther away from Temari and starts to use hand signals. “Suiton; Jet Stream Beam!”

Kurai leans back to collect power and pushes forward shooting a straight beam of water from her month heading for Temari. Temari quickly opens her fan and uses it to block the attack. The attack knocks her off the tree branch to the ground. As she lands Kurai has quickly dashed up to Temari with her sword redraw ready to swing.

“Whoa she quick” Temari thinks as she begins to use countermeasures.

Kurai swings with such force the sound can be heard from where Gaara is more than 20 meters away.

Temari quickly bends back to avoid the blow barely being missed my millimeters from her nose. While doing so she pushes Kurai away with her right foot. Kurai slides backward as Temari jumps back, as she lands she reopens her fan.

“I see you decided to become serious. Why is that?”

“I could tell you were not a good close fighter like I said but if you get a good distance, you will be a dangerous person so I need to ….” Kurai charges Temari again “take you out now!”

“Too bad for you I got my distance.” Temari smiles, “Futon; Great Cutting Whirlwind!”

Kurai quickly jump into the air to avoid the wind attack. “Damn now I am at a disadvantage.”

“So you giving up already”

“HELL NO YOU BITCH I JUST GOT STARTED!!!” Kurai says frustrated and not thinking straight.

“Bitch, Bitch…….BITCH!!!!!…..FUTON; GIANT WHIRLWIND SLICE!!! , Temari screams as she begins her attack. “You wanna see a bitch you got one.”

Kurai dodges the attack then hiding behind a tree.

“That won’t help you.” She throws her jutsu attack again at the tree slicing the tree midway into large pieces.

Kurai looks up and sees a tree parts falling and quickly dodges them. “Damn she’s mad. Maybe I should not have at less said that. I let my own anger get to me. Her not wanting to hurt us was our advantage too but now I guess I have to use that move.”

Kurai looks at Temari who is standing there just looking back “Give up now Cloud ninja?”

Thinking to herself, Kurai says, “I haven’t nearly perfected this. Raikage said it will take years but I got to use it to change he way this is going. Got to get close and speed is the only thing I got. Damn I hope this doesn’t backfire.”

Then out loud says “Ok Sand freak it’s time to take you out. The Cloud’s pride is our power and speed. It’s time for you to see the speed part.”

Temari smiles “Bring it.”

Akatsuki  hideout

“So what you got for us now, Boss Man?” Shigetsu says to Madara as he and Jugo stand there wandering why they are there now.

Madara and Zetsu have been checking all the known Orochimaru hideouts for the three former Konoha ninjas. With only three left Madara decided to check on the two Hawk members and get them ready to move out once Zetsu comes back with some good news.

Suddenly Zetsu shows up from the floor right next to Shigetsu.

“HEY!! Oh it’s you again. Shigetsu jumping up but quickly calms himself.

Madara says towards the younger males as he turns to Zetsu. “I was waiting for him. So what is the deal? You find what we were looking for?”

“Oh yeah and all three are there. So what you want to do?”

“Well it’s time to see if we can reform the Akatsuki. I will not let Sasuke’s small plans get in the way of something much bigger than revenge.

“I thought you were going to let him finish his business?”

“Oh I will. Konoha is our major issue, the other villages are strong but that village is the biggest problem, and if we have those three as I hope we can do some major damage and finish what Nagato started.”

“So we are going to find Sasuke?” Jugo asks

“Yes and maybe some new and powerful additions.” Madara turns and says to Jugo

“Yeah great, can go now. I’m tired of wait for you two to finish your search.” Shigetsu say cocky

Getting annoyed Madara walk to Shigetsu, “Listen water boy I could destroy you right now but your Sasuke’s teammate and a useful allies but you’re starting to upset me. So if you want to die keep talking like that, other than that, be quiet.” As his Sharingan looks into Shigetsu’s own left eye.

A little scared but not much “Got it so can we go now.”

Madara turns to everyone. “Time to go and have some fun.”

Madara takes each of the person into his teleport jutsu disappearing with Zetsu last.

Orochimaru’s hideout

“It’s about time you showed up” Sakura says to Naruto as he walks to the table sits next to Sakura with Sasuke at the head of the table

“Well I had to get dressed, so what the plan?”

Sasuke opens his eyes as he was resting himself while waiting. “First we are going to…..” Sasuke stops stands up and looks into the darkness behind the other two sitting at the table. He activates his Sharingan. He senses two chakras present, then one, then three, now two chakra again, then four all together.

“I don’t know who’s there but I can see all four of you.”

“Sasuke what the hell is going on” Naruto asks as he looks back and thinks to himself, “Damn I wish I could use my Sage Mode now.”

“Sasuke my boy is that the way to talk to your mentor and teammates” the voice comes out of the darkness as Madara comes out of the darkness with Zetsu, Shigetsu and Jugo right be him.

Sasuke is surprised to see Madara has found them so quickly, “Shit he found us before I could make our move” he thinks to himself.

Naruto and Sakura stand up and face the man that has cause them a lot of pain and trouble using everything in their power to hold themselves back.

“So Sasuke can you introduce us to OUR new team members?” Madara says.

Battle site

Gaara is trying to look at all the fighting but with everyone spread out farther and farther he can’t tell if his guys are holding their own or if they were defeated.

Suddenly Durai and Samui suddenly appear in front of Gaara

“Sorry Kazekage but your Jonins were no match for us.”

Gaara looks and sees his two other Jonins laid out on the ground. “And I know you’re powerful but I don’t think you can handle us both at once. I know you are the Kage of an allied village but I will follow my Kage’s orders to the letter even if it means to defeat another Kage.”

“Sorry Sir but my back hurts and you are in our way so Durai we need to make this quick.”

Gaara still standing nearly emotionless lets the cork on the gourd disappear as it is also made of sand and the sand from the gourd start to flow out and surround him creating a sense of fear in the two Cloud ninjas.

“Durai are you sure we can take him.” Samui asks

“We have to try so we can succeed in our mission.” He replies back

“You will not succeed in this mission. You will be stop here and now.”

Soon as Gaara finish his sentence the sand surrounding him reach forward at lightning speed.

Team Naruto: The Hunt Begins (Part1)

So I know that this fanfic is not connected to the manga, given that we know that a ninja war has begun, but nevertheless I think it is interesting enough to perhaps put intice you all to comment on my efforts:

Naruto walks into Konoha, wearing his sage outfit, with his sword, Kogitsune Manu, on his back. At the gate, he runs into Kakashi and Yamato. Kakashi thinks to himself, ‘There is something different about Naruto. He has only been training with the Hachibi jinjuuriki for less than a year, but he somehow appears more powerful, even more so than when he trained on Myokuban.’ Naruto looks at his senseis with fierce determination then asks, ‘So what have you learned about Madara since I have been away.’
‘A ‘Hello’ would be nice Naruto!’
‘Sorry, Yamato-sensei. It is just that we need to destroy Akatsuki at its heart and that starts now.’ He replies. Yamato realises that Naruto has truly grown in the past year into an amazing ninja. ‘Well, it appears that after you and the Kumo ninja managed to defeat Kisame, Madara’s true allies have begun to surface. It appears that the Akatsuki members that we have encountered in the past were just the tip of an even more sinister iceberg.’ This shocking realisation from Yamato makes Naruto look to the floor in deep concern, as he remembers the fight against Kisame that ended with Darui’s death and left the two jinjuuriki hospitalised for two weeks. ‘Well,’ he replies, ‘I think Team Naruto will have to put an end to this now!’
‘Team Naruto?’ Inquires Kakashi. ‘Yes, you, me and Yamato-sensei!’ he replies with a smile on his face. ‘Did Shikamaru get my message requesting another leave of absence to hunt Madara?’
‘Yes,’ replies Yamato, ‘Shikamaru-sama said that this is a priority. It appears that the 7 bijuu that Madara collected have been merged with his inner circle and all that are left are you and Kirabi’s bijuu.’
‘Okay, so where do we go first?’ asks Naruto. Kakashi then produces a scroll and reads from it. ‘It appears that Jabushi Yotsuki is part of the new Akatsuki. And as the only one other than Madara to not merge with a bijuu, he should be the easiest for us to take down.’
‘Jabushi Yotsuki. He is related to Kirabi and the previous Raikage that Madara and Sasuke killed. He was in a team with Kirabi’s previous student, Takuya Sousuke, who had the rinnegan like Nagato. Apparently, from what I have been told he has a contract with the Monkeys like the 3rd Hokage and is extremely proficient at Earth based jutsu.’ Naruto looks at Kakashi and smiles, ‘With your sharingan and lightening jutsu, this should be an easy target for you Kakashi-sensei, perhaps I should just get some ramen and catch up with you guys?’
‘Well, if the reports are true, he also uses larva-based jutsu by combining earth and fire. Apparently, he destroyed Amegakure by creating a volcano that has not stopped gushing out lava since Ame’s destruction 4months ago.’ Naruto thinks about Nagato and Konan and realises that the cycle of hatred is continuing. ‘Did Konan… die?’ Suddenly, thousands of pieces of origami paper begin to fall from the sky forming an image of Konan, who instantly appears, ‘I am joining Team Naruto. I have a bone to pick with Akatsuki.’ Naruto sees the hatred in her eyes and says, ‘My way of the Ninja is not about hatred and revenge Konan. You know that. We could use your help as long as you work in the team.’ Konan thinks of the last moments of Nagato’s life and the hate that had consumed him then replies, ‘You saved Nagato, Naruto. I will follow your way of the ninja.’
Naruto smiles at her and shouts, ‘WELL, LET’S GO!’ Elsewhere, in Otogakure, Jabushi sits with Enma the Monkey King playing Chinese Checkers. He looks up at the Monkey King and says, ‘I wonder when those Konoha ninja will come for me.’ Enma remembers 3rd Hokage and says, ‘Konoha ninja are very powerful, I had a contract with their 3rd Hokage before his death.’

‘Well, he was defeated by that snake Orochimaru and even that weakling Sasuke managed to kill him. So I guess I have nothing to worry about. Anyway, I have been letting their spies spy on me and even destroyed Amegakure, just so that they can bring their best against me. Right now they have a weak boy as interim hokage and it is only a matter of time before one of the major villages attack them. I am just hoping that I can have my taste of Konoha blood well before the war begins.’

Team Naruto stands just outside the border into Otogakure. ‘So, how do we get in undetected?’ asks Naruto. ‘Well, the options are these: I could set up a genjutsu, so that no one knows we are here. Or Yamato could merge with the earth and assassinate all the obstacles so we could just walk in.’ Konan interjects and raising her arms they turn into origami paper, ‘Or we could simply use this technique.’ Instantly, the paper flies over their bodies transforming them into the guise of Oto villagers. Naruto looks at them in amazement, ‘Wow, Konan! And here I was thinking of using Sexy no jutsu!’ Kakashi smiles at Naruto as he realises that while some things change, some things stay the same.
In Otogakure, Jabushi opens his eyes and looks at Kabuto. It appears that the Konoha ninja are here. They think that a simple transformation jutsu could deceive me. I am the earth of this village and can feel any change on its soils. Kabuto looks at jabushi with his snakelike eyes inherited from his merger with Orochimaru then replies, ‘So how many are they?’
‘Four. Two men, a teenager and a woman. Tell Eki and Rei to prepare for battle. The four of us will defeat the four of them swiftly and show Madara that a bijuu is not needed to rule this ninja world.’ Kabuto instantly disappears.
Team Naruto continue into Otogakure in their disguises, getting past two patrols of ninja undetected. Suddenly, the ground below them begins to consume them in a mud prison. Instantly, Yamato performs some seals and a tree grows from the mud lifting them out of the muddy grave. ‘We have been detected. Konan, release your technique!’ Yamato shouts. With that the origami falls from their bodies and as they jump from the tree, they are facing four ninja. Naruto looks at Kabuto in shock as he did not know that he was still alive, ‘That’s Kabuto, he was Orochimaru’s disciple. That fat guy with the pony tail is Jabushi and I don’t know who those two sickly looking guys are.’ Kakashi pulls down the patch covering his sharingan eye and looks in horror as he sees the chakra patterns enveloping them. ‘That Jabushi guy has a chakra level higher and denser than Naruto. Kabuto appears to have two chakras and those twins have a single chakra connecting them.’
‘Tage kage buushin no jutsu!’ Replies Naruto creating over a thousand shadow clones which instantly attack the four ninja. Effortlessly, with the use of taijutsu, the four of them defeat the shadow clones within minutes. Naruto, assessing the battle replies, it appears that their taijutsu is extremely proficient. Konan and Yamato you will provide back up, while me and Kakashi attack at close to mid-range. I think we need to defeat the guys we know first. Kabuto is a lethal medical ninja so we can’t afford for him to land a punch as he knows all the points on a body to weaken it. I will use my katana against him first while the rest of you concentrate on the others.
Naruto charges into Kabuto instantly releasing his katana and infusing it with wind chakra. Kabuto is taken out unawares with a decapitating slice that removes his head. Jabushi begins to laugh at the way his teammate was defeated so quickly, as Kakashi marvels at just how quick Naruto has become. Naruto then turns his attention to Jabushi who places his palms together and creates a gigantic axe to meet the Naruto’s attacks. Although it appears that he is getting overwhelmed with the attacks, he is simply laughing at Naruto. ‘Kogitsune Manu, so it appears that you are my uncle’s apprentice,’ he says, ‘But your biggest problem is that you don’t understand that the person who taught my uncle his swordfighting technique was my fellow teammate.’ With that, he channels fire through his axe that sets Naruto’s katana ablaze as it is fed with by his wind. Naruto instantly release one-tail mode in order to consume the flames. Eki and Rei look at each other, ‘Well, I guess it’s our turn Eki-chan!’
‘I guess you are right, nii-chan!’ With that, they turn their attention to Konan and begin spitting acid at her. She sees the attack in time and creates a wall of reinforced origami to prevent the attack from hitting her. However, the acid burns through the wall and Yamato quickly forms an earthen wall to save her. ‘Hmm, nii-chan, I guess that girl will be the easiest target for us.’
‘I guess you are right Eki-chan!’ Instantly, Rei disappears and reappears behind konan and kisses her on the cheek. Her face suddenly turns green and sickly and she responds by shedding the protective paper that covered her entire body. With that she forms her angelic wings and takes to the sky.

Kakashi looks at Kabuto’s body and sees snakes coming out of the neck and body and joining the body together. Kakashi turns to Yamato and shouts, ‘Yamato, Kabuto, quick!’ Instantly Yamato performs a series of hand seals and says, ‘Mokuton: Kabaku Eiso*’ Instantly, a tree begins to grow around Kabuto’s body trapping it instantly. However, Eki and Rei see this and say ‘Ekirei: suppai konchuu no jutsu**’ instantly thousands of bugs begin to fall from their bodies and move onto the tree burning it with their acidic bites. Kakashi thinks to himself, ‘Those twins need to be defeated now.’ He forms a chidori and races towards Eki connecting instantly with his body, however, his body turns to acid and burns kakashi’s glove, as he reappears next to Rei. ‘How did my sharingan miss that?’ Kakashi wonders; jumping away to a safe distance. The twins begin to laugh as they look up at Konan who is flying high in the sky and as they sneeze, they say, ‘Fuuton: Ryuukan no jutsu***!’ Instantly, Konan is struck and her wings are covered with mucus and she begins to plummet to the ground. She places her hands out and origami paper forms a large bed on the ground breaking her fall.
Meanwhile Jabushi and Naruto continue to clash swords. Naruto thinks to himself, ‘I need to get into sage mode now and end this!’ Then, looking qt Yamato he screams, ‘Yamato now!’ Yamato quickly forms hand seals and says, ‘Mokuton: Shichuro no Jutsu****’ Naruto jumps back and says to Kakashi, take over for a second. He then closes his eyes and calling upon the kyuubi he instructs him to begin gathering natural chakra for him. Instantly, he opens his eyes in Sage Mode.

Eki and Rei look at each other and say, ‘Well, this should be interesting!’ Instantly, they release their cursed seals and wings begin to form as they take flight. Meanwhile, Konan’s foot it grabbed by a large snake as Kabuto looks up at her from a distance and Jabushi breaks out of his prison laughing.
